Savvy readers will notice that the list of Klaus viewings for 2008 has been retitled from 'The 100 Kinski Challenge' to 'Klauswatch 2008'.
Sadly, I have come to the conclusion that barring an extremely unforeseen circumstance there is no way in hell I'm going to get to 100 Kinski flicks this year. And so, I am man enough to admit defeat and hope that I can at least double my current list and maybe get to 30 for the year.

I admire your fortitude and am curious if you've seen his Jack the Ripper (Franco)? I just came across your blog, so maybe you've already talked about it... At any rate, I'm siked there are others out there who appreciate the genius of KK.
Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, I've been so busy of late I haven't watched a Klaus flick in about 4 months! I did talk about JACK THE RIPPER... it's one Klaus flick I'm not a huge fan of. Here's more... http://tinyurl.com/k2ripper
Great blog; I've really enjoyed popping around to different entries today and plan on coming back often. I just picked up the six-disc Herzog/Kinski DVD set today and look forward to diving into that. I've only seen Nosferatu to this point, but from what I've read in various sources the careers of both men peaked when they collaborated. Thanks again for a great blog!
Thanks for the comment and while most people/critics think the Kinski/Herzog collaboration brought out the best in both men I don't necessarily agree. Klaus did a lot of great work that goes unfairly overlooked because people have misconceptions about his talent or attitude. Regardless, I think you'll enjoy his great work in these films!
